Plans & billing

Manage your Pillar subscription and understand how plan access differs from telemetry coverage.

1.Choose and manage a subscription

Subscription checkout and the billing portal use Stripe. Organization Admins and Billing Admins have billing-management permission. When the signed-in billing banner offers Billing Portal or Reactivate Subscription, use it to open the portal. Trial and payment-status banners may offer checkout. If no billing control is available for your current status, use your account’s support contact for subscription changes.

Review the plan, billing interval, amount, renewal date, and any applicable limits in checkout or your Order Form before confirming. See current plan information. Documentation examples do not set pricing or add contractual commitments.

2.Plan access and collection are different

Features can depend on both subscription entitlement and available telemetry. A plan does not supply missing host capabilities: Observer latency distributions still require a supported, connected Observer, and dataset chargeback still requires dataset telemetry.

Chargeback currently requires a Studio, Facility, or Enterprise tier. Team and appliance allowances, support arrangements, and separately configured services such as enterprise SSO should be confirmed for your account. Do not assume the simulated sandbox represents your plan’s entitlements.

3.Renewal, cancellation, and payment issues

Review subscription status and available changes in the Stripe portal. A scheduled end-of-period cancellation differs from an already ended subscription. Confirm the effective date and resulting access for your account before relying on monitoring after a change.

Canceling a subscription does not uninstall the Agent or revoke a node key. Follow offboarding steps to stop collection, and use data and support guidance for deletion requests. Refunds, service commitments, and termination rights are governed by your applicable agreement and Terms.

4.Subscription billing versus chargeback

Stripe manages payments for your use of Pillar. Project chargeback calculates storage allocations for your own clients. Exporting a chargeback statement does not charge a client’s card or change your Pillar subscription.
